Easy.  Nancy Reagan sitting by idly while the once controllable AIDS crisis became an epidemic.  Her husband was complicit too.

He’s been donating his salary, as it’s a pittance compared to how much he’s making on emoluments. Saudi’s spent at least 270k at his hotel. His New Year’s party now costs a thousand per ticket, and hundreds attend, so even that one day could make up for not taking his 400k salary. Secret Service provides security for

Yes. Plus he’s forgetful. He might actually sign it, forgetting he’d planned not to.

Yes. McConnell has a lot to answer for.  Hoping he lives long enough to be universally recognized as a quisling.

I do hope that this move encourages more whistleblowers in the Federal government to come forward with further cases of corruption by Trump and his ilk.

Innumeracy helps. He might have also changed his withholding status, and that could account for it. Or maybe just pure imagination.

Since immigrants kill people less frequently than native born, armed immigrants are more likely to be the sainted Good Guys with Guns.

There should be an artist achievement badge for this.

If the Democrats had picked up three seats, Trump would have been partially neutered.  McConnell was complicit in not speaking out about Trump, despite knowing he was in bed with the Russians.  If more people had spent a little more time thinking about them, we would not be in this mess.

Maybe if he wouldn’t be lonely if hadn’t fired 90% of his cabinet, hadn’t alienated his wife by fucking a porn star, among others, and wasn’t so handsy with his adult daughters.

I’m in my 50's, have to write a lot of paperwork, some of it by hand, and refuse to write cursive.  My printing is more legible, and faster than the cursive I spent a lot of time learning. If I was a kid now, and had a choice of how I had instead spent that time, it’d be computer coding, or doing more foreign

There was a story about Bush the elder waking up post-presidency, and reaching for the button that used to bring him his coffee.  When it wasn’t there, he was flummoxed, and looked at his wife, who said, “Don’t look at me.”

Classic definition of Chutzpah: killing your parents, then begging for leniency because you’re an orphan.

Possibly even more terrifying is the architect of this decision may have been Erdogan. Trump apparently reached the decision after a call to him. Joint Chiefs were allegedly not consulted. This coupled with Trump losing Mattis and Kelley in the same month suggests our diplomacy is largely being conducted by a naive

I actually wish the president rose to the level of Costanza.  He at least could experience shame and embarrassment.
