Yes he could get this removed under "right to be forgotten". The victims also could have gotten this removed under RTBF.
"right to be forgotten" is a long-standing idea with judicial oversight. We clean records of people with over-turned convictions, people who complete probation and x years or whatever, people arrested under age, bankruptcy after seven years, etc.

The person who would have to prove 1) it is false AND 2) the person writing believed it was false . It is an extremely high level to prove. It is very very rare. And there is no fucking way a reporter who write "rape" is at risk while a reporter who writes "sexual assault' is not.
