Well accelarometers used to be really expensive until they started going into cars for airbag systems. Then there was a much larger market that could apply pressure to lower prices. And it worked, they got cheaper and better. Now every car has a bunch of them

Hyundai/Kia use all in house transmissions nowadays and this is likely their own homegrown transmission. If it’s anything like the ones Hyundai uses it probably won’t be as fast as the ZF unit which is likely why the 0-60 isn’t as quick as some other cars with this kind of power.
