I was thinking about that for an Integra type R. But mid engine and RWD Mmmmm perfect.

I recently sold my 92 Civic and one guy who checked it out said “the fenders aren’t original because all Japanese cars have bar codes on the fenders.” I didn’t belive him and later googling showed nothing. Plus the fenders were equally faded and scratched as the rest of the car. They weren’t any thing suspicious.

That was actually a popularly held belief “back in the day” doesn’t really apply any more with automated assembly lines, or if it was ever true. But the sales guy probably thought it was true.

We’ll budgets are worse than war rations apparently. We reload brass, but don’t even get the bags anymore :(

I came here with the same opinion, but on further contemplation. I think it should be windshield. Because it doesn’t open and it’s a strucural member of the car unlike a window.

As far as I know the only problem with battery swapping is the time factor. Every hybrid sold can have its batteries swapped its just more of a major service than the equivalent of a fill up. Tesla’s now charge 80% in 20-30 min which isn’t much of an issue. Basically there isn’t much need for battery swapping right…
