I just finished reading Jessica Simpson’s book, and her family is also not great. She writes about how they relied on her to be paying the bills at a young age. Her parents didn’t have jobs that weren’t involved with her career.

She said the incident occurred two years ago, well before pandemic restrictions.

I’m old, so I have friends I’ve known for literally decades. Through college, weddings, camping trips, vacations, and other times together that involved a lot of drinking, I’ve never heard one of them use racial slurs when drinking.

I was recently diagnosed with high blood sugar. Lemonade was one of the first things I quit having, followed by most coffee drinks. 

I know a few people who took a month or more break from drinking. I'm not sure they'd want to tell the world why, because the reasons vary. A celebrity would probably be more hesitant to say anything. If they say, "I'm worried I might be drinking too much," that's going to be out there forever. 

They don’t actually live in the suburbs, either. It’s a gated street in the city of St. Louis. The protesters we’re heading to the mayor’s house when they passed these idiots’ house. They were literally walking by.

I heard this sam’s argument with Obama - he’s mixed, not black, didn’t descend from slaves. But if he wasn’t Obama and a cop saw him, he would be black. Let’s not fool ourselves that he or Harris are treated any better because they’re mixed.

Many years ago, I worked in a movie theater next to an apartment complex without air conditioning. Our afternoon movies were really cheap, and we had people from the apartments every day.

Not surprised at all. Clay has been around forever, but didn't seem to be around his district enough. People have met her and know her. 

My mother always said they were 'the' place to go for dresses, and I bought a few there. Also, I love the outfit that the woman on the left in the back to Radcliffe picture is wearing.

This! I live near a border between a red state and a blue state. Plenty of people in my town work in another state. It's just a short drive away. How anyone thought this wouldn't cross borders is beyond me.

I know this is pretty, but at what other job does one wear those high heeled strappy sandals she loves? She wears them to work.
