Hi. As an outsider I find all this really strange and awful but I do have a question. Does the GOP have some sort of executive body thst can veto a candidate if they suddenly decide “that guy” (take your pick really) should in no way ever have his finger on the button?

I think that figure is as a percentage of GDP. The US spends around 32% of GDP on healthcare, whereas Australia spends around 10% and has universal access, regardless of private insurance levels.
