As much as I understand that these things take time to build, manpower to monitor, and procedures to set in place, I think Overwatch has been live for long enough now that we can start to ask how realistically they’re setting expectations for “we’re working on it”.

I played the game most of the way through Heavensward and my laundry list of complaints is pretty long, so I’ll try to boil it down to a bottom line. The game is mostly a collectathon that keeps resetting your progress every 3 months. The gameplay is rooted in memorization and is mostly very easy and boring except

I love and have tremendous respect for Hideo Kojima, but I have to idealize Naoki Yoshida more because this guy is mainly responsible for saving this game. While he has the team to thank for helping make it happen, his direction and vision is what saved it, and is probably one of the best MMOs out.

Actually, I just watched the end of an Ironsword walkthrough, and I think I did beat the game eventually. I definitely remember fighting the final boss.

What happened to jaleco? The kings of knock off beat em ups and fighters?

I think I eventually got about halfway through the game, but I just had to quit. The game is so poorly designed, because it’s almost impossible to actually attack enemies. Why give a guy a sword and then make swinging the sword completely ineffective?

That’s Fabio!!

Holy crap that’s the game I recognize that romance novel cover protagonist we had the game but I could never remember what it was called but no way im forgetting that ridiculous cover

Ironsword was the SECOND game I ever bought with my own money. And holy crap did I regret that one. What a terrible game. Astyanax was one of the most underrated NES games though.

Astyanax was amazing. I remember playing it at my uncle’s house. We’d go there once or twice a year for a holiday or birthday or something and I’d go in the back room where he had his NES and a wall of games. I always choose this though.

Mega Man 4 for NES, purchased from Funcoland. Unfortunately I was a brat as a kid and threw a tantrum on the way home because my mom stopped at a store to do errands (because I wanted to get home and play my new game) so I wasn’t allowed to play the game as soon as I got home. When we got home I waited in the car for

I can’t recall. The first one that sticks out in my mind was Zelda, but I know my mom bought that for me. The first one that I know I bought with my own money was the shareware of Doom, which was like $5. I got home to play it, and it said I had insufficient ram, so I rushed out to the local computer store and bought

Jokes on you, ladies. While you’re worrying about your butthole us manly men are focusing on the really important part; your sexy, sexy duodena.

She could have been holding a knife because she was barbecuing in the backyard! She could have been holding a knife because she was afraid of the burglar she called them about (yes, mental issues, I know, but...)! IT’S NOT ILLEGAL TO HOLD A KNIFE.

I’m not familiar with this game either, but I familiar with Japanese multimedia as a whole, and I think I might know why. Japan has a lot of ‘targeted’ entertainment, directed at certain genders, ages, etc. As a result, you see a lot of youth oriented material featuring a young cast, even when the scenario might work

Correction: I believe her age did remain 13, and that she was falsely reported to be aged up to 15. I still can’t seriously view her as a 13-year old, as she looks more like a petite 18-year old and sounds like someone in her mid-20s.

The character was changed to a 15-year old in the North American release. They could’ve bumped her age to 17, and I would’ve believed it.

Well, the issue isn’t the inclusion of a 13 year old. She’s a super genius and a great character. The issue is that there’s a bikini armor set that is very revealing and you could put it on her. Which is unacceptable no matter how you look at it

I just want these people to explain why they want so badly to dress a 13 year old girl in a bikini.

God dammit, I wish FFXIV wasn’t a vertical progression slog with mind numbing rotations and Simon Says rote memorization, because this trailer looks incredible. I just have to remember that this expansion will almost assuredly be 2 brain dead dungeons per patch with the expected 8 man raid and 24 man raid alternating
