Actually Charlotte asked Lee to sneak Peter Abernathy out of the park last season. He was supposed to “fill” Peter with all of the top secret source code and leave with him on a train. But when Lee went to get him, all of the decommissioned hosts were gone (and attacking the gala)

a mild bump on the noggin after basically getting the equivalent of duct tape over a bullet to the head. Felix gave him a quick and dirty patch up job after he shot himself in the head last season. The bump to the noggin couldn’t have helped.

That was probably my biggest complaint with the episode. There were several scenes at the end of season 1 showing how he had little use of that arm. Now he’s using it fine? And not only that, but the last time we saw him, he was away from the gala having a smoke or something and surrounded by hosts. How did he even

Yep, old Ford overlaid on the kid’s voice to emphasize that this was something old Ford created specifically for William before he died. But I also agree, pretty hard to understand. I had to go back and rewatch that scene a couple times

It’s just “smart bullets”. The bullets have some technology in them that if they’re aimed at a host, they hit full impact. If they’re aimed at a guest, they break up before impact and do minimal damage (equivalent of a paintball or airsoft round). It’s a little far fetched, but it’s also a world capable of creating

This news makes me even more sad after seeing last night’s episode. That was some of the best Evil Dead content around. That show is so F-ing good sometimes.

The train wasn’t moving when they get on. It clearly starts moving a little while after Logan gets on. They even react to the train starting to move.

I just rewatched the first season - MIB says he’s been going 30+ years, not 40+ years. And the park opened roughly 35 years ago in the show. They mention those specific numbers several times.

Man, this show has been so damn good. It’s everything I could have ever wanted it to be as a fan of the Evil Dead and Army of Darkness movies. Sad it’s gonna go, but so glad we at least got it at all.

His mom was my kindergarten teacher. Guess you and I grew up close to each other

Now I’m hoping for a Deadwood cast cameo in Westworld...

I think the reason people are curious about where the story is taking place is because the vast amount of space it would take to contain Westworld - let alone 6 parks that size, and let alone being able to have at least some control over the climate, weather, etc., means that it’s unlikely that it’s anywhere on Earth.

loved that scene

That’s an interesting point about “why would people assume Superman has a secret identity”. It’s not like you see everyone in comic book land wondering “who is Professor X’s secret identity???” or “who is Black Widow’s secret identity???” (I know they’re Marvel characters, I’m just using them as an example). If they

I already got the afrofuturist musical art film I was waiting for:

i reconciled that same hatred when Deadpool 1 came out. He’s really good in this one particular case.

I’m really hoping that he somehow saves the day and kills the bad guy at the end

All of this and no mention of the Doomsday foreshadowing in the preview for next week’s episode?

It’s not amazing, but it’s definitely much better than I thought it would be. And the all of the special effects are pretty decent for a syfy show

So I’m confused. The publisher says that this has no canonical ties to the MCU, but the author when interviewed seems to think it does and even ties in movie moments with it? So did the author write this think it was MCU canon and then Disney pulled the rug out from under him? Or is this just something like the old
