If you look carefully, she didn’t even “recreate” them AT ALL. She literally dressed up in blackface and that’s it. The garb and accessories are all just photoshopped on from the original photos - INCLUDING the facepaint on the Karo tribe image. They seriously just cut the items from the original photos and pasted…

He does live action stuff too. He’s done a great job on the new Flash show as the Trickster.
