The game you’re talking about is actually based on the comics (which the show is too). But yeah, there’s been some major spoilers for the show in that game, if you don’t read the comics. Love the game though

I always took it as Mr Smith was infused with Neo’s “essence” or something when Neo “entered” him in the first movie’s climax. (ok, that sounded kinda dirty, but was totally unintentional haha). But that was my reasoning as to why Mr Smith became so special. He was part Neo.

If you read it again, Deckard is actually the one walking in to the large guy’s house. The large guy is fertilizing the land behind his cottage when Deckard lands in his flying car. So I doubt it’s a call to duty (at least it’s not Deckard being called into duty)
