cuz as a startup you gotta make that profit margin to get rolling. Profit margin on a 100k vehicle is going to be a lot higher than the profit margin on a 45k vehicle.

This is plausible.

Im no investor but it seems kinda foolish to me. Certainly seems to have backfired in his case.

Why the eff would the Chinese guy invest in two separate competing startup companies?

In Theory this is a Jalops dream vehicle.

Uh. not my car. you talking about the writer?

Yeah pretty sure feds have made trips to florida for that shit.

Uh I do. Because I live in Austin and would like to import something for myself. Duh.

Yeah. They are pretty cool but one can only get so excited about wrong wheel drive cars.

Wait. This dude got an S15 AND a Type R imported, registered AND plated in Central Texas? What the hell?

What led you to owning a SSR ?

That sounds like a long 4 years my friend

Dare i say this one that was once featured on the site?

Im surprised the roof caving in like that didnt mess up the A pillars or doors as well.

Well when merging onto a highway where speeds are 75-80mph what am I supposed to do? Merge granny style at 30mph and cause a pile up?

Where can I buy one?

it only had 27k on the odo when i drove it. maybe thats just how the transmission is programmed I don’t know. All i know is that acceleration was slow and felt weird.

Actually it does, a white and black car are going to have different interior temperatures. Its science dude.

Definitely felt like it with the way it drove. And the car sucked its a bandwagon for a reason, they are lame appliances. Not cars.

If it wasn’t a CVT it was the weirdest piece of shit transmission i ever drove. Mashing the gas on a on ramp you would get to about 3500-4000 RPM and just stay there, they would not climb, nor did the transmission feel like it upshifted.
