Fair point. I typically laugh Hysterically whenever I see something called a "maryland style crabcake" and it has jalepenos, or cilantro or something else in it. If you did that back home in MD people would show up at your doorstep with pitchforks and torches.

I come from the mid atlantic and can tell you they are unheard of in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia ,Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
