Don't allow test drives? I can maybe see that for an STI, but thats a load of baloney. I don't care how awesome a reputation a car is I wanna know if I like how it drives or not before I drop cashish on it.

yes there was a lot dismantled/left to rot. But there is still a decent amount of track out there and IMHO it is severely underutilized.

In regards to the interstate highways systems impact on trucking I think it grew in a negative way. There are WAYYYY to many tractor trailers on the interstates and getting into an accident with one is almost certainly a death sentence. I personally believe for LONG distance shipping we need to utilize the railroads…

I could have swore when Hammond raced on Top Gear he said they used a TVR engine. But then again TVR used the Rover V8 block didnt they......Which actually used to be a Buick.....so really deep down at heart this is powered by 'Murica!

Now granted most vehicles will not fare well against going head first into a tractor trailer. I'd like to believe a full size car/vehicles larger crumple zone would have helped here
