At this point in time any Domestic V8 in a S30 is fairly boring. Its done to death, and really just doesn't match the character of the car at all.

Oh I know. There is nothing that beats the sound of healthy L6. I still haven't decided whether I will swap a L28ET into my 280z ro an RB20DET but it WILL be a roaring L6.

MS3 Driver here. That reason you just mentioned is one of several I'm considering trading it in for a Veloster turbo.

I didnt say there were a ton of guys doing the VQ swap But there are a few guys on HBZ running them or in the process. Also pretty sure there is a guy doing a VQ35HR motor swap as well.

better? maybe. Expensive? Hell yes. The L28ET offers so much more performance potential for less money. unless tripple sidedrafts turn you on that much.
