Many here -myself included- are old enough to remember that Texas was the last state to criminalize having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle while being driven. Let’s bring that back. And child labor. And let’s roll back all progressive laws over the last 120 years, in fact. Ban interracial marriage. Make all

I bet you 90% of people buying this thing will be to replace their minivan or their SUV to go to the grocery store and the mall. It just looks like a cool minivan, this is what it is. A ID. Buzz “California” is also, apparently, planned.

This is Toyota playing politics to cover up the fact that the Toyota struck out with the eTNGA platform and are not going to produce the entire fleet of “bZ” products that was promised to be on the road in 2025.

I feel ya with this. I live in Victoria with some of the highest gas prices in North America, I fill up my GTI about every 2 weeks and it’s been hitting $100 CAD a tank more often than not lately.  Also because I live on an island gas can get scarce when people get stupid.  When a big storm knocked out the highway

THE CATALYTIC CONVERTUR!!!

Now playing

unfortunately no, because I live in New Jersey where we have a lot of leaves, and the Xterra’s catalytic converter can make those leaves spontaneously combust

I don’t know which is worse. That charger submission or the person who thinks Honda is ripping off Genesis... lol. THE Honda Accord, one of the most incrementally and mildly updated cars on the planet. I guess we’re at a point in the timeline where people forgot the Genesis desperately tried to look like a Mercedes

anyone else see this and think “What advantages does this motorcar have over, say, a train. Which I could also afford.”

Quite literally nothing.

Not to mention a helmet doesn’t fit through the window opening of the Camaro (prudent information if you ever plan to track the car).

No dice at that price. I had one of these for 10 years- also a stick and darker blue (a better color IMHO). Subaru sold fewer of these than some Ferrari models. So here’s what to expect:

Also the handling and brakes are not what you’d expect with a modern vehicle.  It’s not bad, it’s just built as a truck and not as a sports car.  My 1995 F-150 seems to handle better with a load in the bed, but braking gets even worse.

Well they also ride and steer like a truck, which isn’t exactly pleasant but you get used to it and at least you know exactly what your tires are on so you can drive appropriately.

JP-8 AKA Jet Fuel AKA Diesel

people who don’t understand military fuel insist on calling JP-8 “Jet Fuel” and while the JP stands for Jet Propellant due to outdated nomenclature, JP-8 is actually used in much larger volume by the Army as a ground vehicle fuel.

A/C doesn’t use up refrigerant.  If it needs a recharge, it’s leaking from somewhere.  There is no such thing as “just needs a recharge”.

Have you been to one of these new stops?  They are horrible.  Bathroom access now requires navigating your way thru lines of people (even if it isnt very crowded) waiting to buy food.  They are shit layouts.  The old ones were drastically in need of updates, but I’m not sure who picked these new designs.  Seems like

Those steel ovens have big bricks inside them that cook the pizza. That is what makes it a brick oven. Not what it looks like on the outside.

I worked at a NY-style slice shop and we used a deck oven with a baking surface made from giant slabs of brick. For a thin crust pizza, the baking surface can make all the difference in the world.

Jesus fucking Christ. It’s a brick oven because there are bricks inside of it not because it’s surrounded by bricks. I made pizzas for 15 years. I know what I’m talking about.
