I love how these German auto execs always seem to espouse the opinion that the world will eventually come around to their bad decisions. Like another car company isn’t going to try to compete on range. No, everyone’s just going to quit at a 220 mile range and customers are going to just have to learn to love it.

These are probably too small for the people who’d really want them. Socially conscious people with young families who are looking to buy a new car want something bigger. We have an old Fit and an old Jeep liberty, and honestly, if I were buying a new family car, I’d want something bigger. And if I were buying a toy…

I don’t know man, Canadian sales figures (???) notwithstanding, if I could get an electric Mustang with performance that blows away a V8 for the same price that doesn’t need gas, I’m doing it.

I agree that this seems lousy for true enthusiasts, but Ford has moved so many more non-V8 Mustangs over the years than the “true” GT versions. I think the whole point of pony cars is their mass appeal - both to those who want style and to those who are attracted to performance bona fides. 

This is a great idea. By 2028, people will be totally on board with electric, and the performance that it will deliver will blow away what they can get in a gas engine.

I think the point is that David Letterman and New York pizza bona fides are not things that go together.

You’re only getting 4.4 gb of usable storage with Chromecast w/ Google TV though... That fills up pretty quickly and these devices slow down significantly when their storage starts to fill up.
