Sticker price on my 2018 Mazda 6 Grand Touring Reserve (one step below the top-of-the-line Signature) was $32K. Has all the bells and whistles of the Sonata (other than a standard-size vs. panoramic sunroof), plus the zesty 2.5 liter turbo. And while I realize looks are subjective, I think the Mazda is by far the

It’s crazy how well TRD Pro does, and now there’s a TRD Pro Land Cruiser and it’s not coming here.

Australia is one of the biggest Land Cruiser markets in the world - here are our prices, in Australian currency of course. The most expensive is about US$110k, which means for once we come out in front. Still horrendously expensive - my neighbour has a newish Sahara, so he’s doing okay.

Slide 9, the diablo...Must be the resale red. Put another shrimp on the bar-bee!

Except that:

Living in Pakistan for a few years taught me something about luxury cars. Corollas and Civics are priced there like E-Classes are in many markets (taxes and whatnot), so many of the wealthy end up buying them. That means they have tons of options available (many dealer-installed) that otherwise wouldn’t be available

An entry level, econo-sized BMW or Audi is *not* the place to go for a luxury experience. Those vehicles are selling the badge, not the experience.

In this insane market, cheap is subjective, but you would be hard-pressed to find a more luxurious ride for the money than the current generation Volvo S90.

The CTR is the winner here. A Golf R isn’t a bad choice but anything German doesn’t bode well for the “5-7 years without being a maintenance nightmare” requirement. The CTR is a more useful daily than the STI because it’s a hatchback and has bigger rear seats. It’s more comfortably as well.

They finally killed his spirit and he’s recommending actual options.

Mark this date because I don’t say this often, but Orlove is 100% on the money here.

This ship that was involved in the incident off of Portugal this week…

First story on his new site. “I found my next restoration project at the bottom of the ocean!

Let’s not rule out pelican involvement as well...

His comment was completely normal and mature. I can’t fathom your description of it.

“His solution was to huck fuckin’ everything—the cake, the chicken, the carrots, and the potatoes—straight into his back yard because “the raccoons will take care of it.” What the fuck, man.”

I forget to log on for a couple of days and this is what I get? This is terrible news, I don’t accept it. La la la la la sob.
