Somebody is tired of replacing head gaskets as routine maintenance.

Lotta floating rocks get partially entombed in the ice of Shelburne Bay.
If only the Panamera actually looked like that.
I’m getting a Citreon DS vibe from it.
Well that’s very goddamn pretty.
I’d throw Saab into the ring. They were developing engines and technology used in the rest of the GM lineup when the Great Recession hit and got the axe because of it. The Saab-developed 2.8T V6 was also used in the more popular Cadillac SRX.
Has to be Lancia, right? They went from absolutely killer rally cars and mid-luxury commuter cars to complete crap in the span of what, like 15 years? Wasn’t most of their failure due to a decade-long media assassination in the UK where they claimed that their cars used communist steel and rusted to pieces? I’m not…
With a budget of $40,000 I think he’s insane not to consider a bad-ass customized import, like this wagon with a turbo upgrade, a manual transmission swap, and upgraded suspension:

Matrix/Vibe (available with the 2ZZ from the Lotus Elise, and some people have even installed the Lotus supercharger from the Exige, and it’s even California-legal, too!) Even the base 1ZZ was available with a TRD Supercharger straight from the Toyota or Buick/Pontiac/GMC dealer.
Lets go with a class the cars that would be called crossovers now but were way before their time:
Well, being a long-time VW stan, I’m going to have to submit at least one.

The Shark. Really, the old school BMW 6-Series was a simple grand tourer, fun to drive, and it just... looked rad, man. I almost feel guilty posting this car, because I don’t want other people to know how cool they are and drive up the prices on Bring A Trailer, but I’m willing to take the risk.
