So glad that low belt lines and large windows are making a comeback.

Agree as I have one but then I bought it knowing that I would get a good resale should living under a bridge not work out. The thing is that no other van this size would fit in my apartment carpark and have so much space inside. Unlike most of the other cars here there is not many competitors.

Talking about 240s. Have you seen the prices of Volvo 240s? In Australia at least people are asking for North of $10,000 for one

Says the person with Land Rover defender as his user pic. Are you in the right place. Most of us here like all sort of quirky cars. Be gone!

From my research all you need to do to disable some Beverley Hills Cops is put a banana in their tailpipe

The extra hipster tax is what made me end up getting one compared to a more reliable but ultimately devaluing Japanese van as since I bought mine 6 years ago it has steadily gone up in value although probably dropped a little since its Covid peak price. Also I can use it on historical ‘club’ plates here in Australia

The Australian version has a stove that can swivel from where it sits behind the passenger seat to outside which gets rid of that issue. As does modern 12v fridges which are very efficient. I also have a wagon if I need to move things around so the T3 works well just as a camper.

I have one of these but as a VW dealer campervan (Trakka which was the only other VW campervan sold through dealers other than the westfalia and made and sold in Australia) and TBH the engine I would say is ‘adequate’ as it is actually quite torquey but I don’t think this model worth the asking price in this condition

damn kinjad before I could post this

The state of Australia also received this car

no its not a problem on these. head gaskets were a NA engine issue

Not an issue with the turbo engine. It has the non cardboard gaskets.

Its seriously ridiculous the lack of annual leave that the USA and Japan miss out on when most of the other first world countries get at least 4 weeks a year.

That they are now selling a lot of them in Australia where as GM made hardly any effort at all to sell the Chevy SS / Commodore over in the USA.

These lanes work really well in slow side streets that are bicycle routes with a main car orientated street nearby. We have them on some of the really slow side streets here in Melbourne, Australia. Every Now and then there will be a unfamiliar driver that gets frustrated about the bikes taking over the road but pipe

A couple of Aussie classics,
The Big Steal.

Soundtrack to that film is amazing as well. Nick Cave, Julee Cruze, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Nenah Cherry, Lou Reed, U2, REM.

Toyota Previa / Tarago from 1992-1999. A really clean and simple design that is unapologetic about what it does.

This Peugeot 406 coupe is from 1999 and they still look amazing today
