I’m still driving the 1988 Corolla All-trac wagon and the rear live axel has a flex that allows it to get over things my friends old Subaru has problems with. Here is mine.

VW T3 Westfalia. Because its the only virtue signalling that no one will call you on waving. This is a fantastic review and owning one Can agree. But I’ve never overheated like the one in the review.
You think that MCM is annoying onscreen - just wait till you watch a Scotty Kilmer video.
My inlaws who were a uni professor and police translator with two kid at home had a kei box car mostly to ferry each other to and from the rail station. this was pretty standard.
Japan is hot for American cars. Not just the full size vans that have their own racing league. Of course there are muscle and pony cars I’ve seen a Buick roadmaster in Tokyo traffic and non discript 80's compact woody in Hokaido (was that a concord?). Strangely not as many jeeps as I would have thought seeing as they…
mentions how he was driving in sport mode through the canyons so I’d imagine that figure would be a lot better if not trying to wring the snot out of it on a test and putting it in eco mode.
figure of speech my good man.
Can attest! Jumped off the train on the way to Toyota Megaweb on Odaiba near Tokyo at a car show just for the sake of it. What a mix. Kei cars, Trans Ams, Volvo 740, original mini and supercars all just enjoying each others company.
Although Tall boi wagon they actually have 50/50 weight distribution for and steer pretty good for what they are. Better than my ‘88 Corolla Alltrac
Yeah the Tercel comment was strange. The 4wd Wagons are one of the best cars Toyota ever made.
Yeah I have a Corolla AWD Alltrac wagon from 1988. Did the rot in the Corolla name start there?
Yeah we never had these in Australia but I don’t see what there is not to like abour a practical little wagon that can have AWD or 2zzz-ge.
add ‘its ugly’ to that list. No real clarification on any of those responses of what went wrong or why it was a ‘bad’ car.
VW were even more cynical and used the same stalk as the intermitent equiped higher spec versions but on my Vanagon and just put a peice of plastic to stop you moving the stalk and altered a relay to stop intermitent on the lower spec.
