whilst in alternaUSA we have gone from the iconic honda postie bikes:

Try the East end of O’shanassy St my friend!

The car is in North Melbourne, Australia about 1km for the CBD, bright yellow wagon. very original and on club permit plates. A pleasure to see on the street.

I hope yours doesn’t have a wheel nut piercing the end of it either.

I see your combo and I raise you this one.

Jason: “ex-Jalop and noted Hungarian gadabout Máté Petrány”

Australia: is it pronounced “Mate”?

We had the Cortina in Australia but with a 4.1litre 6 cylinder engine that did nothing for driving dynamics. Mid size over here but with the engine of the larger ford Falcon. I actually pass a registered street parked one every day on the way to work.

Colin McRae figurine would still win the diecast rally and he would find a way to make it look like this.

They aren’t all equal though. This one was the last VW to be built in South Africa though Also the last VW T3 Vanagon built in SA

I think it was either centre or behind the driver. Which wouldn’t be an issue in most standard car designs.

They already have one . The corolla Alltrac /Carib sprinter 1988-1995

I’d rather they bring out the Landcruiser TJ Concept
Something more practical and a proper boxy little 4wd.

Dang. Even my 1988 Corolla all trac has a fancy drain plug on the rear diff. What the hell Jeep!

But are we sure he’s driving that Roller? Looks like Scotland where they drive on the other side of the road with RHD cars.. just saying

Hi Jason, can I submit the Tercel 4wd Wagons tailights? The UK version had to have a blank over the foglight place in the ATM unit and then a pep boys unit mounted unceremoniously on the RHS of the tailgate. Because it needed to be to the centre or behind the driver.

That rear tailight mod is pretty popular here as well! some put extra brake lights in there. My corolla 4wd wagon had the same foglight delete with the lights and reflectors still there and no wiring. Pretty well anything that was sold on the european market legally had to have them I think.

That’s not the only VW with Tightfistyness built into the range from the factory! VW T3 Transporters had the speed variable intermittent wipers built into all models but to unlock them for the base model (which my Trakka campervan is one of) you have to.
