This happened with my AE95 Corolla All Trac and it was the small broken plastic button that highlighted the issue. I was lucky to google it and MacGuyver up some card and tape to get on the road which I have to replace every couple of years even though a Toyota Dealer is around the corner.
Great looking Volvo, Thats what I like about Japan there are so many clean examples of non exotic cars in pristine condition around. I have seen for example renault 4, Golf mk 1, BMW Z1. Fiat 500 and several american 80's cars driving around all looking great and they seem to love Volvos there

Thanks David for the article. One of the great things about the seemingly mundane cars are that they are designed to be economically made. It’s almost easier to make a supercar than an everyday car.
