They shouldn’t have the safety groups ONLY at the ends. Traveling 200+ MPH means nothing when he should be passing multiple groups of personnel along the way. There should be periodic and prepared groups along the route. This sounds like either they were close but not prepared OR they were at the end of the course

Can we talk about how it took 2 minutes from the smoke appearing to when we finally hear the sirens?

$500...

STOP POSTING VIDEOS THAT ARE QUEUED TO START AFTER THE KEY SCENE!!!!!

Wasn’t the whole point of the greys to keep this type of imagry away from people who were browsing at work? Forcing it to be requested viewing. All of the sudden this HUGE PICTURE is the TOP comment.

That is considered “clipping” an observer?

Last season it got to the point where drivers were making next to no decision for themselves. The diff settings to use, the brake bias for specific corners, the fuel maps, how fast to enter certain turns, how fast other drivers were taking a specific line etc.

I think the surprising part to a non fluid dynamics engineer is that it only dropped 13,000 feet over 25 minutes with zero power. It would be nice if you went into more detail about the aerodynamics behind the gliding abilities.

Asking for a friend.

The video I’m linked to seems to be missing the part where he steps on his own nuts.

*may be

My guess is the front end lifts up too as one piece ala Viper.

Not laughed at because of the vehicle I hope. It is an issue of the weapon of choice not being legal due to roll potential. Very few trucks are classified as legal to autocross under the scca solo rule book. Ford Lightning and Tacoma X-Runner are the two that I know of. Heck, the Fiat 500 isn’t legal.

You only get access to the current year’s races :( I haven’t figured out how to get access to the past season’s archives.

It should be mentioned that the SuperView commentary team is different than the 7Mate crew was. Some cast members carried over, but Larko, Skaife, Matty White and co went different ways from Niel Crompton, Rusty and Rhiana. The team was fractured into covering for V8 SuperView, 10 and Fox. Shame :(

The raced at COTA once (2013 and 4 times over the weekend). XGames came in and stole the one weekend that worked for both the V8s and COTA. The rumor was that the only way it would be cost effective for CAMS to continue the contract was to get a second event in the USA. That didn’t happen and last year the two parted

Every time I’ve gone to the dealership they’ve had a Performance Pack on hand.

It’s the Jalopnik way to post a video with the start time either at the very end of the video OR 3 seconds after the targeted time to watch.

Petr Cech, Michael Ballack, that lovable anti-semite Nicolas Anelka, Michael Essean Daniel Sturridge... That’s the Chelsea team I drove up to Seattle to see a few years back. Watching them in person solidified why I chose to follow them from the USA 5 years prior.
