If you are really looking to compare $ per mile to show the absurd cost, why not electric? $1 of electricity gives me 50 miles. 5 times that of your gas example.

I will say this: A buddy and I both have identical Model 3 LRs (even same color), the only difference being he went with the stock 18s, and I went with the 19s. The extra inch somehow makes my car look bigger and angrier.  I think you car guys call it stance.

I have to say that the newer version works much better. The older look makes Takagi into a jerk, whereas the younger look sets the ‘young love and doesn’t know how to express it' vibe.

Correct. Even the private sector allocated enough time and money to fix the problem. From 92 to 99 Y2K fixes were pretty much all I coded.
