Kinja’s the Bad Place.

“I Tought I Saw a Puddin’ Vat” is the height of comedy, and Megan Amram should get a Kennedy Center arts award just for that pun alone.

Hush and finish your frozen yogurt before it melts.

I know this will be a controversial opinion, but I think The Good Place is a good show. In addition, I enjoy watching it.

The Good Place is a good reason to get a DVR; we find ourselves pausing it to read all the funny stuff.

“The 50's weren’t that great!” - Filmmakers
“We... we know” - Women, Black people, Asian people, Latino people, Middle Eastern people, South Asian people, Pacific Islanders, LGBT people, people with disabilities, poor White people, kinda non-conformy White people...

Speaking of looking sexy, I was hoping she’d have checked herself out in the mirror while filming the new Thor and said “You know what? This goth thing is really working for me. I’m gonna stick with it!”

Alas.

It doesn’t seem that way. Season 1 ended with enough teasers to imply they intended to pick the story up again in season 2.

I think this is true, and that a huge part of why it’s causing so many problems is that it’s causing Janet to lie. It’s been established a bunch of times that Janet’s not supposed to be capable of lying, but her repressed jealousy is causing her to lie without knowing it.

I was genuinely cheering when he threw the notebook away and told Michael to get the fork out, and at the same time, his reaction to the little girl in the hospital may be the greatest Chidi Consternation Face in the history of the

This may sound weird, but Michael’s first apology felt sincere to me— he was saying it sarcastically in order to distance himself from the discomfort of its truth.

The second apology felt insincere to me, because it seemed so out of character for Michael to give a sincere apology, so it felt immediately suspect, and

Seems like a glitch happens when Janet lies (which is her operating in a way she wasn’t designed for):

After giving much thought to the issue, I’ve determined that Chidi is my favorite character on the show.

I saw it going this way:

“See the world! Just don’t see or light anyone on fire, if you can help it.”

Actually, now that I think about it, this moves down to #4.

My 3rd favorite training when I was in the Navy was when they didn’t know what else to cover, so they repurposed some Army jungle survival training videos. In case our ship ever sank in a jungle, I guess.
