Sorry about the autism dude.

Don’t they get tested for weed like once per year and know exactly when it is? So it’s actually don’t smoke one week out of the year, which is more of a stupidity test than a drug test.

No, what you said was stupid for lots of reasons and you unsurprisingly couldn’t keep up when I explained that to you.

If it literally was just about the tie then that is weird. My baseless speculation is that it was about more than just him not wearing a tie.

Uh okay dude

You are not going to win a lot of games by crowd-sourcing your disciplinary decisions. You seem very hung up on the idea that a coach sitting a player is “playing dad.” And yet many championship-winning coaches use the bench as a tool. Do you have any evidence that you, an anonymous internet commenter, know better

You are not going to win a lot of games if your players are just doing whatever the fuck they feel like doing.

Oh the old “I was just joking” defense for shitty takes that get called out. Nice.

Factually inaccurate, specious, non-conclusive. A real doozy.

McGwire and Sosa “bringing baseball back” is a myth not backed up by any data.

There aren’t any teams that just don’t care about service time.

Yes and Obummer is going to establish a caliphate in the United States! Tin foil conspiracies are fun.

Yeah that would be like acting as Secretary of State while simultaneously collecting “donations” for your “foundation,” including some from hostile foreign actors.

Yes, but it is the current least arbitrary method.

Giving home field to the team with the better record would have been an arbitrary rule before interleague play. Perhaps less arbitrary than the winner of the ASG, but still.

Fresh Market is slightly better priced and doesn’t have the most overpriced features of Whole Foods (salad bar, hot food bar, olive bar).

I really really really think I could. Do I still need to go? Seems like a waste of time to me.

What if you want to pimp the outrage surrounding a fairly harmless sign at a game to further your blog, where do you do that?

I am a bit smug as a former economist that has studied this issue

That isn’t true. There are hundreds of economic studies that reflect the negative impact of artificial labor prices. A lot of those studies have problems too. You seem to fail to grasp the very foundational principle of academia and research which is that results, methods, etc. should be questioned and challenged.
