The linked article talks about two guys held on unrelated charges for questioning, but as of yet no actual charges filed in the shooting? Unless there’s a follow up not linked I didn’t see.

Wait-this article says they don't? They said they're being held on an unrelated drug charge to question them about the shooting but that no charges have been filed in regards to the shooting since.

The way she described him reminds me of my ex-mother in law ( member of the Daughters of the Confederacy) who would talk about how they had black people as servants and were so different from people today because they would always stop and call her “miss” and as she put it: “They were happy to work for a good family.”
