I would agree with the author if the game went out of the way to idolize or revere Reagan. I finished the campaign yesterday, and the scene with Reagan is identical to the scene with Gorbachev. If they removed both from the game entirely, nothing would have changed. A better take on this would be a nuanced look at

Well no wonder he’s in Smash.

Manbabies: Video games should be taken seriously!

Hmmm... you know how people complain about FFXIII being a hallway simulator... I’m kind of into that. Everytime I start up a game and open a map with ninety bajillion points of interest, I mostly just sigh and feel tired. And while being able to make my own character is neat, I mostly spend too much time, make a

I’m terrible at using her but when I saw the outline I thought it was a reworked I-no.  I suppose it could still be a reworked I-no knowing Guilty Gear but I need my Shiina Ringo stand in.

Yeah, you may be safe. It's like nerdy tech stuff but shortly after they did those BC less models, that's when they changed suppliers. Caps only last for so long anyways but the PS3 can still be fun.

Perfect Match is the worst game because it’s the only one I have no chance of losing. With episodes lasting only 15 minutes, I want to be engaged that whole time.

Luther blocked a bazooka in the opening fight scene of the season but a bullet killed him in this one. That bothered me

As an indoctrinated Vancouver Canucks fan since childhood, and having grown up seeing the brief existence of the Vancouver Grizzlies: this all checks out.

Back then, there actually was less distinction between a console and a “PC” (PC being a term that has changed meaning over time). I mean, they literally named the thing Family Computer.

I haven’t heard about D1, what’s the context there?

I noticed it in 1 and 2, but 3 kinda hits you over the head with it every time the villains do anything. Lilith’s power loss at least tried to show the player characters get separated from her by a random convenient explosion that temporarily sealed a door requiring the player to go the long way around the ship. So much for his stealth run.
