That’s a little odd, given that the ending is basically, “we fixed everything, we all gonna live happily ever after.” Honestly, that’s really how most RPGs should go given you spend all your time saving the damned world.

I really love 8 too. It was the only FF that gave me a decent ending.

Yep, I think Ed Boon mentioned it in one of the many MK 1 interviews he’s been doing. I’m surprised that the Kombat Kids aren’t getting Kameos.

I think Kano is indirectly confirmed as they showed him doing a fatality.

I followed every FF just fine, even XIII. I’m just saying I find this take to be quite ironic.

It’s a little ironic everyone is feeling so conciliatory in the comments when FFXIII got shit for the exact same thing. Still, everyone is right, most of the FF stories were on the most part nonsensical.

I mean, you’re kind of taking it out of context. “Insanely popular Linus Tech Tips Channel” already narrows it down to Youtube.

I’m not sure why the content of the commercial is particularly noteworthy. I mean, aren’t most of the commentariat here literally in that demographic? 30-45 year olds with boring ass jobs who enjoy some gaming when they get home from work?

Well, either way, the OP was talking about fighting games. I don’t know many dpad/pad players that don’t have a wicked fighting game callous on their left thumb.

I’m not blaming the user. I’m well aware there are shitty controllers out there, but we don’t always have access to the best stuff. The dreamcast controller was far from ideal for fighting games, but if you’re a big on fighters, the need to adapt to a multitude of sticks/pads in the older days was more or less a

I played a ton of 3rd Strike on the Dreamcast controller, how hard were you pressing on the D-pad? It was a surprisingly sensitive pad and you could soft touch your way to big combos. From my experience from another fighter, KOF 98, going hard on the pad often made the moves way tighter to execute.

Metal Storm? But why?! I think I still have the cartridge in my storage somewhere.

Getting shot is not enough to stop people from engaging in stupid. This is when you know the world is doomed.

Well, Ryan Gosling is 42 to Margot Robbie’s 32. So at least the gap is there still there.

But Lily Gao played Nancy Gao in the Expanse, that alone makes her awesome.

I’m not a huge performance enthusiast, but the Switch has had some glaring issues. The first BOTW had pretty big frame rate drops, and even Animal Crossing gets really choppy when when your town is fully decorated. At the very least, it would be nice to have it scale up to 4k.

I do think there’s some xenocultural differences here. Saiyan’s putting their kids in harms way is their norm, and I suppose it’s served their biological imperative since breeding seems less important than growing stronger. Moreover, I have to admire that he was able to teach Gohan to maintain Super Saiyan was a

It’s crazy how easy biscuits are to make. I’m a terrible baker who fails at pizza dough and bread all the time, but I can make fantastic biscuits.

Oh for sure. You can see that with a lot of Japanese companies who can’t see beyond the archipelago as their primary market. They’ve been slow to adapt to the idea of a world market in so many different ways beyond just games.

There’s correlation, but I don’t think it’s causation in this case. It’s not like Japanese devs couldn’t make open worlds. Even the much maligned FFXIII has a very very large open world area (Grand Pulse), which was easily as large as most world maps in old Final Fantasies.
