My kid begins lessons tomorrow.

I’ll be that guy and point out that if you actually walk in another person’s shoes, what was empathy would now be sympathy, so yes, it would have to reduce your empathy, by definition.

I’ve never found myself in a situation where I thought, “my palms are cold, but fingers are just right.” Fingerless gloves are basically vests for your hands.

Could the re-up be used to extend your current subscription?

I was just going to work on the assumption that those were two completely independent thoughts and the first was just disturbing.

Transmutation never goes well.

One day I hope to meet Leif Ackerman.

On a related note, ask yourself why someone is offering you a free place to dump that stuff you are thinking is trash.

That is really nice. But at $40 for a caddy, it needs to be able to help me read greens.

I’m a slow reader and audiobooks are way too slow to help me speed up. So yes, I think you’re right on this. Interesting. I don’t bookmark in Evernote at all. I use it for . . . well . . . notes. And recipes.

Pocket is not my “I’ll read this later” bookmark service. For that, I use Readability. Pocket is for my “I read this once and know that I will be coming back to use it again” bookmarks.

Best for me. And for my chemistry, it will do it’s job for two days if I need it too.
