Bluetooth is so not the way to go for the home. It's great for PAN but for LAN it ends up being a frustration. Unless you're working with a space like the models homes in Ikea. This has been my experience.

I agree. Even if you wanted to go the tea route, whey start with something you don't like to get there. There are so many containers you probably have on hand that you could dump tea in. Even removing tea from pouches if you don't have loose tea.

For me, when a drink is spilled at a desk or table it's usually because you're not paying attention as you place them down or pick them up, not because I knock them over. This doesn't solve that problem at all. Well, it does shift the location of the potential spill, but it doesn't eliminate or reduce the spill risk
