I laugh that Alan promoted this comment on his own article.

I would go cut down all their bushes and hedges and pay them in rupies. As many as I am rewarded for my efforts.

You're girlfriend's dad might be a psycho. Use that information however you see fit.

This is just odd. But hey, if everyone is happy....

A good recipe app will let you bypass the scan and download. That's one advantage. I find a recipe on the web and point Springpad to it and that's it.

I understand how this works, but maybe there should have been an executive decision not to include Dropbox. It's nothing more than a leech in this case. It does zero for organizing, though I can't argue it's not a collector. If you're using Dropbox to store your recipes, then it's really your word processing

The Transformer will be just as awesome when the Transformer Prime comes out. It's a bad habit that we tech people have to scoff at good enough when even better is out there. I would go with an A500 over a Transformer just b/c the A500 has USB on the tablet instead of on a separate dock. This really opens up your

Donation is nice, but sense you've considered Ebay, you might consider selling them in lots. For each lot, your description could include a featured book. "Lot of 50 comics for sale. Includes Superman #1." Something like that.

I wouldn't care so much about the upload rate anyway. It obviously is an impediment for you, but for most, I don't think it is. It is a very rare case where I want a file uploaded to Dropbox so I can access it in an instant on another device. I think the normal use case is put the file in Dropbox and when you need

Certainly that is true, but the difference becomes whether or not you are using "application" in the most general sense or in a more specific sense, wherein you might choose to be more specific, making such distinctions.

Are you contending that OSes are not applications or challenging the use of the word "app"? Either way, I accept their inclusion of linux.

Plex doesn't exist without XBMC so they got it right. :D

Springpad notes each have a unique URL. You can use this URL to link one recipe to another. It's not optimal for navigation unless you want to put extensive effort into cross-links. There certainly is some failing here, but I don't keep many recipes so Springpad's feature set works for me.

That photo makes me cringe. All I can see if the aftermath of a heartbreaking accident.

Vote: Springpad.

Quickest way through the airport is just to sprint. Don't stop for anything. When they do catch up to you, they'll even given you a place to sit down and catch your breath for a while.

There are several ereader apps for iOS (iPod Touch included). I can confirm Kindle exist for iOS devices but would have to research to give you the names of others. The short answer to your question is yes.

I think if the iPad has been sufficient for you other tasks, then it would be prudent to keep it and supplement it with a dedicated ereader. It should be a question of replacing the iPad with an ereader and a PC. Now, if it's a question of upgrading your iOS device, that's something different. If you need more out

I misunderstood which bar was being referenced. I know of no tools that have been created to alter the one in question.
