It could be a an opening to a new game/trilogy/DLC where you start out with either an Indoctrinated Shepard, or a free Shepard based on your ending.

There are LOTS of excellent stories that end (truly end) with Cliffhangers like that. The Sopranos, No Country for Old Men, Easy Rider, Children of Men... there are tons. It's not a style that everybody likes, but you can't argue the critical success of allot of those films (and a show).

That was a good episode!

I have drunk the Indoctrination kool-aid (obviously), but I do agree they could have done a better job of making it apparent.

I can't wait to see how it plays out. If it REALLY is that the ending is just what it is without the deeper Indoctrination meaning, I'll be PISSED and right in there with everyone else.

I don't think it came from lasers, I think it came from Harbinger being inside Shepards head. It does not appear that the story requires a Reaper be near an individual in order to show him visions.

If you watch/listen to the Codex entry for Indoctrination - it says that the reaper eventually gains the ability to show the victim hallucinations of "ghostly" presences in their mind. Why would that be in the Codex?

Anderson (and the Illusive Man) are both only in Shepards mind in the last 10-20 minutes of the game - after Shepard blacks out while running to the beam. It's like the good angel/bad angel on the shoulders thing from the old cartoons trying to persuade bugs bunny of something.

All I can say is honestly watch this video; it's how I viewed the ending, and it makes total sense to me. It's worth the 20 minutes.

The Catalyst is Harbinger in the attempt of indoctrinating Shepard; this video really is a must watch.

Does anyone else out there think the Indoctrinated theory is correct? This is what I thought was going on going in to the ending, and I absolutely loved it - although it is bittersweet because if you believe that is what was going on in the end **potential spoilers**, that Shepherd was fighting indoctrination in his

Allot less I'm sure than trying to tow it to shore and salvage it.

I can somewhat when it's the non-cropped version showing up here. As Curves points out, he kind of dissapears about the knees up.

It would make a good survival knife. The handle is hollow for waterproof storage (the butt is threaded with an O-Ring seal); you could keep matches and what not dry in there.

Love it!

So where does tan go? Just curious. =)

I can't agree with is comment more (the edit one).... It's always been the commenters that have kept me in Giz, kotaku, and occasionally lifehacker. I miss the folks you mentioned, especially OMG.

I for one have a problem with it because there a very strict policies at my work place about signing in to a Facebook, twitter, or google account at work. The gawker login has always been a bit of anonymity for me at the workplace. I fear that will be gone.

Anyone want to buy a starred account for $50; PM me for PayPal details.... J/k! =)

I forget which city in Oblivion... But I would jump on the roofs of buildings and get up to the city wall, then jump out... Frickin awesome! I loved exploring bizarro Oblivion!
