Well to be fair they have been spending a lot of money.  The working people paying for their “cottage” upgrades - it’s kind of bullshit.

I felt the same feelings while pregnant with my second, it’s actually normal to feel this way. I was depressed. Crying, worried, not feeling connected, all of that. And once I had him, all of that went away. I am told it was pregnancy hormones.

It’s because women are judgmental of other women and it comes across as patting yourself on the back when women say they had an unmedicated birth. Not all women CAN and it’s another weapon in the mommy wars. It’s ridiculous sounding to men, I’m sure, but it’s a punch in the gut to read if you didn’t or couldn’t.

Because you’re a guy (I assume) I’ll let you know it’s kind of crappy to write that.  Not everyone can have an unmedicated birth, and it’s belittling to point it out.  There are enough women out there who do the mommy shaming thing, please don’t add to it.

It does feel right, that’s why I did it. My little guy liked to sleep with us or he was distressed. Of course I’m still trying to get my now 9 year old (!!) out of my bed. His knee is digging into my side as I type this...
