It must be terrible for black parents to have to tell their children "Even if you're unarmed, even if you're well-behaved, even if you do everything right, there is still a chance that a white police officer will murder you in the street with your hands up."

There are lots of ways he could get his diploma. I'm sure the detention center had GED programs. There's never a good reason for sex to be in high school. And I'm pretty football is optional when it comes to graduation requirements.

This comment assumes that a high school education can only be attained at a public high school. That assumption would be wrong.

OF COURSE YOU CAN'T CHANGE A FUCKING DIAPER IN THE MIDDLE OF A RESTAURANT.

I live literally just a few streets over from where this happened. All day last night all you heard was gunshots, helicopters, and people protesting.

the story has already changed so many times. first they say he shoplifted and the cashier called the cops on him - cashier came out and public denied this

The "kill the police" chant is from an article from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. I don't know if it happened, but it's not from the AP. It's mentioned in this article: http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/cri…

anyone who has ever crossed an international border through customs?

This article didn't sit well with me for some reason. I've never expected high end brands to start making plus size clothes, and it doesn't excite me when they do because I can't afford high end clothing.

I feel like the problem with plus sized retailers is that they have to be everything to everyone. Smaller girls have more choice—fancier stores, more casual stores, ones that cater to older women, etc. Meanwhile, plus sized ladies have maybe 5-7 stores to choose from. And they use the excuse the excuse that fatties

I think breastfeeding used to be a lot simpler for women. I read a statistic the other day that at least a third of all new mothers had never seen a woman breastfeeding before they suddenly had to. Formula made breastfeeding a foreign concept to the last couple of generations, and fewer women have the help of their

Yep. I love these assholes that are all "gung ho" for the free market and then insist that they can't do business with wage transparency when one of the first fucking rules of functioning free markets is symmetrical information.
