Yup. My area doesn't do the mammograms themselves but they can refer you or once a month or so a mobile service does them in the parking lot with PP working with them.

Of course not everyone will go on to be an abuser. I was hit that way and I'm certainly not abusive but I have to be proactive about it. However, statistically there is a correlation that we can't ignore just to make us feel better.

Best crockpot trick ever: I buy frozen chicken in 10lb bags at Costco but like hell all that will fit in my freezer. I put every single frozen breast that will fit into my crockpot, fill it 1/2 full of chicken broth or water, and cook it on low 6-8 hours or on high 4-5 hours. Then just chop up the chicken (or put it

I make pork in my crockpot a ton. I save the tenderloin for fancier crockpot recipes ([pinterest.com]) and then I use butt or shoulder for pulled pork. You can also add just liquid smoke and sea salt to a butt/shoulder and have Kahlua pork. I did that for a luau-themed BBQ and it was a hit.

It's definitely got to be on the preservative end. It actually prevents yeast from growing as much as it should. I add maybe a teaspoon because I often let my dough rise overnight and I don't want to come back to a yeast that could eat me. If I'm making dough the same day I just leave out the salt and it all goes

Thanks for mentioning this! I wanted to do this but the timing never worked out but they mentioned they accepted donations so I went that route.

From working in the courts I can think of about 4 different types of people who abuse children.

$1000 times yes to this comment. The process for donating has become so much less invasive and less painful for donors. I've been on some of those bone marrow generating drugs and I won't lie and pretend they didn't cause me pain, but I was on them for 9 months so it was a gradual buildup to what felt like period

I started my car 3 times today and this song was on all 3 times. That was too creepy (or just overplayed already) for me so I dislike the song on principle.

All these pink comments made me think for a second that Komen invaded this post too.

While that's true, there are more than a few charities who seem to exist just to be something for rich wives to do and make money at. Locks of Love had a bunch of politician wives running it and making hundreds of dollars while not making more than 100 wigs over 10 years at one point. They bumped the trophy wives, got

I fear the ad will be on too early in STL to qualify for any sort of drinking game based around the commercials. I'll just get really drunk and yell at the TV like I always do then.

The worst part is knowing that one of them did find a murdered body once pre-Storage Wars. I'm clearly too obsessed with trash TV.

A 14 year old can usually be charged as an adult for heinous crimes. I would think if you're old enough to be considered an adult for one, you should be for the other or the opposite, if you're not old enough to consent to sex then you're not old enough to be charged as an adult for such crimes.

I was just starting to use it for quick jobs when I wasn't on my home machine with all the powerful photo editing software and BAM! they screwed everyone over. I don't think they predicted how angry the women bloggers out there are about this either.

Even if I can forgive them one day for cutting all the good stuff, the impossibly slow pace it loads at now makes it so annoying to use. They've definitely gone the route of "We know what you want" even if it isn't based in reality.

The Doo.Ri line has caught my eye. I have a grudge against Macy's for the takeover and the fallout from that but every store has pissed me off lately so I might have to enter and get the dress on the left for my next vacation.

Your comment about the anxiety is spot-on.

Well, I'm a girl and I've been a member for over a year when they were still in major beta mode. In the last few months the content has really changed. I find the quotes and thinspiration annoying but it's generally easy just to drop a board on there and avoid that. I've eliminated nearly every bookmark in my browser

I definitely loved obsessing about my "future" wedding while in college. That was also probably because I went to school in a town with just a Walmart and there's only so many magazines on the racks there. Then I came home and worked in event planning so it just gave me more ammo to plan the best bash ever.
