@Terry: I agree. I wish their lighting was able to be shipped too because I've found a many of things I would love to buy but alas, not shippable. I live about 5-6 hours from one and if I'm going to drive that far to go shopping, I have to combine it with another trip and I just haven't had the time yet.

Back in the 90s, cities and states went on the offensive, banning pitbulls. Those same cities and states only saw increases in dog bites instead of decreases. I would say that maybe, just maybe, teaching proper dog and human behavior are a better way to fix things than bans. Thankfully, cities and states are starting

@snacktastic: That's what I had last heard, that her anxiety was getting to her but she had started making guest appearances at shows without any notice and that was going well. I think they plan on trying for a new album but there is debate over touring with that album.

I agree that the "journalist" who used the term "sex by surprise" was dangerous and disingenuous and I doubt it was an error of omission. It existed just to paint a picture of feminists as dangerous to men and feminists as some kind of crazy grudge-filled women gone mad.

I was unaware all mothers had to live by your standards. Good to

@ohhhhi: But many kids can speak before one and the WHO suggests it through 2 years.

@bluesbelle: Another scary thing, at my university the town was so small that they hired our campus police to police the area of town most college students and professors lived in so they could focus on the townie areas. No matter what they would send the campus police.

Well thank goodness for the rationality of 17. I wish there was a way to retroactively attach names to this so when DADT is repealed, those who made homophobic comments were outed.

@claudinelonget: Maybe men are just worried about being objectified like they do to women. That's all I really see happening here.

@JMae: Seconding this. I carry all my weight in my stomach and the jegging actually makes my waistline exist unlike other jeans which pooch and do awkward things.

@awkwardsilence0711: Talbots has a tartan plaid taffeta skirt with a ostrich feather crinoline. My resistance is weakening! SAVE ME!

@MissBuckyC: Seconding this desire! I really want a skirt in the perfect shade of yellow but it doesn't exist.

@makkura: From what I understand, teachers don't get Social Security and they don't pay in, instead there's a retirement plan through Missouri. Teachers pay 14% of their earnings into as a pension of sorts. Except the stock market destroyed the amount of money that was supposed to be in there and now teachers

@hfree: I worked at my local courthouse and everything set off that metal detector. One day the only metal on me was a bobby pin in my hair and that triggered it. There are ways to change the sensitivity and I wish they'd use common sense.

@Seattle-Kitten: +1. Plus, you have casual shoes in your carry-on bag in case your luggage doesn't arrive.

@Spacemilk: I know exactly what you mean. I have Raynaud's and the window seat + footwear issues make my toes trigger and go numb. The worst was when I flew to Seattle for business in dress shoes and lost feeling for the flight + 3 hours after landing. I don't know how I managed that day.

@makkura: I'm from Missouri and I second this. A large part of the issue is the way they do retirement pay too.

This is why I've converted to Talbots. No more worrying about JCrew making something that will fit me, no more weird crazy fashions that aren't wearable. I know most people consider them old or the clothes a little looser at the waist than they might like but the new stylist has really brought the old JCrew look over

When I was working as a victim's advocate, I had to cover for our child sex crimes advocate when she broke her hip/leg and was out for 3 months. The things I saw under child porn were disgusting and every child was clearly abused. I know this article says "no kids" but 1) every criminal I saw escalated and 2) a lot of
