See I thought Season 2 was better (and yes I even liked that one Season 2 episode everyone else hated). Season 2 I thought was more consistently good I found the ending of Season 2, with the school dance, to be even more emotionally affecting than the end of Season 3. This season started well and ended well but a lot

“Narratively disjointed” are the words I’d use to describe this season. Whether it was Will saying the Mind Flayer had “never left” before us finding out it was only brought back when the Russians came to town, us being told two separate times no one could make it through the Russian base before people did, or even

Was I the only one who was not a fan of this season and thought it was quite a bit worse than 1 or 2? I really disliked that the showrunners seemed to cheapen the world they were building for short-term narrative.

I would LOVE for Robin’s parents to be played by Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpny. We get the realty bites and Before trilogy reunions in one shot. Also would explain her knack for languages. :D

Came here to say this. I’ve worked in child welfare some, and this would almost certainly never happen. The 14th Amendment gives parts the right to raise their children as they see fit, so long as this doesn’t violate laws (abuse, neglect, etc.). And you’re right, states do not like splitting up families. I can’t tell

The remnant-United States seems to have a major consular office in Toronto to service refugees, which is probably larger than the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa. It’s possible that Canada wanted to give the U.S. Refugee community a place at the table.

I saw one of those videos on youtube that was a copy of the Americans are Ignorant and Proud of It —Canadian version and believe it or not, a lot of Canadians didn’t know Ottawa was the capital either.

Would Gilead really let Serena and Nick walk around Canada interacting with whomever they want unsupervised? No, they would not. Serena could’ve been easily abducted as a form of radical protest. Or shot. Or whatever.

Being in band much more fun when you can just enjoy playing in bars and not delude self that you destined to be Next Nirvana. Me and couple of 40-something friends keep threatening to form band called The Dads, and then release album called Hi Hungry, I’m Dad.

Is it okay if I don’t like it for story reasons, though? I thought the plot went nowhere and Poe was a bad dude.

Yeah, I loved how they turned Luke—the purest character—into a bitter loser, loved the save-the-space-horse-animal-rights anti-capitalism bullshit and Rose Tico, the most nonexistent character of all time.

I started off liking The Last Jedi quite a bit, but the more I thought about it the less I like it in the context of the rest of the series.

As a stand alone film, it’s one of the better entries in the Star Wars cannon, but I can’t get past it’s explanation of the past between Luke and Kylo.

I just can’t figure how Luke

Some of us dislike TLJ because it has no idea what it wants to be and mostly squanders a great cast. I’m all for some harsh revisionism in what is one the most revered, yet mediocre canons around. But the sloppy way in which they’re doing it is just boring.

I am truly overwhelmed by this trailer. Queen was my favorite band in high school (and still is), and to see them become mythologized like I and my friends always saw them, and with actors who so uncannily capture their look and spirit, just blows me away. When I started listening to Queen, Freddie was already dead,

Yes, I was disappointed she was caught and brought back. I don’t want the show to be more of the same. I spent most of it kind of wishing June would kill herself. I wonder if that’s how the show is going to end or if there’s going to be a happy ending for her.

What the fuck? She still will most likely never see Luke again. She could be returned at any minute to a life of rape and torture, devoid of human connection. Who could begrudge her a little fleeting pleasure? I knew people were serious about monogamy, but jfc.

OK Dirty Computer Mindcrime of the End of the 21st Century Schizoid Man would be the ultimate Radiohead/Prince/Janelle Monae/Queensryche/Ramones/Supertramp/King Crimson mashup album.

For those of you wondering what might have happened to Hannah, Google "Argentine Junta," "Buenos Aires Naval Academy," and "Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo."

Agree Adrian, 100 percent.

We can rest assured that Dustin will never become a Juggalo.
