Hello Internet idiots. Could we try to make one thing in 2017 not be about sexism, women and whatnot? Thanks.

What the hell are you talking about, they said they got the fastest driver, how is that defensive?

I have a 2004 Mazda RX-8 that I imported from the states in 2008. They are still replacing things on warranty. One done this year, three pending that they ordered parts for already at my local dealer. So that’s a truth with modifications if I ever saw one.

Why wouldn’t she be trash? Why does everyone think that someone who’s famous has got the be the most sensible person ever?

I never doubted the numbers, I doubt them actually getting to produce it. I fear the electric revolution might hit a slump in many territories. Both this and the semi seemed so much concept that someone could have rendered it at home and slapped it together. It doesn’t seem as cohesive as their former cars. To me

How do you people drive that you need 230hp to go to the mountain :D

Have you ever been inside an Evo or a Subaru? Their interior is like a plastic ice box. I think the Mazdaspeed was one generation too early, the next gen 6 was really fantastic in the interior and exterior, from then on I’d like to see the MS6.

That’s what they are trying to change to be honest. They have had the best designed interiors (and exteriors, but there’s always some taste there) for almost 10 years of any Asian brands in that price range. Just imagine a modern Mazda 6 in the Mazdaspeed package compared to the (let’s be honest) shit interiors and

Hyundai has very quickly improved their designs from 2010 onwards. That said I think they suffer from the same problem as Toyota and Nissan, with the insanely long/droopy/wide headlights and a bit busy details in the front and fender areas (depending on models)

I think Mazda in many ways did design some of the best looking sedans in this modern sedan look, which makes sense when you see their lead designer joined Tesla to create their flagship car at launch. So I disagree that it needs anything else in the rear. In fact I always get blown away when I see it in real life

The presentation he did for LeSee (the other car that was made by FF in their “spare time”) where they listed features of the car were all features made up by an external team. I know this because I was part of that team. It seems to be a legit strategy to just lie in China.

The LeEco car now known as LeSee was originally called LeCar. But that was apparently some Peugeot car or something of old. So they had to change it.

I was external, and they have expanded quickly and changed a lot since then. But I did meet and like many of the key people at the time. I believe in repaying the faith given in me so I’m not going to give any details obviously. But there’s both super weird stuff (some of which can be cultural differences) and a bunch

I honestly don’t think it matters. I worked there for a few months, lucky enough to be on a project where all the miscommunication and ridicilously bad chinese-american communication didn’t ruin everything. I think more bosses have just made it worse for the people with an actual vision there.
