That gorgeously decorated, empty funeral parlor was so telling. Norman can't share Mother with anyone, even in death.

Check out the TVLine website. They are writing in the character of Marian Crane for the final season. I'm thinking the beginning of the show may fast-forward a few years. Vera Farmiga will be very much in evidence, so we will probably see her sitting in her rocking chair spouting batshit crazy nonsense. RIP Norma,

Shonda was all fired up about her election channeling the actual election. You think she was happy about KW derailing her plans by getting pregnant? Of course Shonda would say she was happy for her; she'd look like a jerk if she'd said otherwise. But I bet in private she had several things to say about it, and none

The fraud is that Shonda served up the Olitz relationship to viewers for four and a half years and all of a sudden unmasked it as a fake. What was her point? To show that she could bullshit her audience just for the hell of it? You haven't spent 92% of your time watching Olivia work any cases this season because

Holy moly, this episode was a veritable orgy of slashed throats.

It wasn't that she broke them up, it was the way she did it. She could have had Olivia act like a grown woman and say look, babe, this isn't working out, I need my own apartment and I need my own space so I'm outa here. I'll call you tonight. Or something like that. But she had to turn Olivia into a screaming

Little man-baby Jake doesn't want anything except to be out from under Rowan's thumb. So why the hell doesn't he kill him and have done with it? He's bigger, stronger and 20 years younger. He's already killed hundreds of people. Why is he so scared of one old man? You see why this show makes absolutely no sense?

I stopped watching it after the abortion but I did follow the recaps to see how Shonda was going to dig herself out of the shitpile she created. I watched the last two episodes out of pure curiosity. Curiosity has been satisfied and I have no need or wish to find out anything further about this series or the

She went against Shonda in a big way by getting pregnant at the worst possible time for Shonda's timeline. Think about that.

Good lord, how could Shonda be pleased about it? They had to cut almost a third of the season out. From the POV of the timeline. KW got pregnant at the worst possible time. Something tells me this was no accident.

OMG, it just occurred to me… KW isn't naïve. She's a grown woman. She must have known how her getting pregnant at this point would impact on the series. Shonda was all gung-ho about Scandal's election channeling the real election this fall, but if they have to push the season back to February or March, it won't

Who cares who wins?

I wouldn't want to try to get inside Shonda's head. I'd imagine it isn't very nice in there.

I suspect that a fairly large percentage of viewers who watched the final episode were people who tuned in solely to see how the season would wrap up, and are now done for good. They have no intention whatever of returning to watch another season.

And now Shonda is turning Olivia into a clone of herself, which is probably why Olivia seems so obnoxious.

He's no longer whiny and needy, he's no longer self-righteous, he's taking responsibilities and thinking with a clear head. He's seeing the end of his line at the WH and that's making him become his own person as opposed to the guy his staff created and took to the Oval for.

I wish I hadn't read that. I just lost every bit of respect I ever had for Joe Morton.

The old Olivia would have figured that out in a New York minute. The new Olivia is completely clueless. She needs Huck to do all her thinking for her now.

Shonda turned Olivia from a smart, strong, capable, competent, focused, can-do woman into a whiny, spoiled, nasty, soulless bitch with a block of ice for a heart. She made her so thoroughly unpleasant, unlikable, unsympathetic and unrelatable that she completely alienated the audience. Olivia used to be the kind of

Private Practice did not do well from the jump. I think HTGAWM is still finding its audience. It's way out there for a lot of people. Scandal differs from these two in that the show did well for four seasons, started off very well in its 5th season, continued to do well for 8 episodes, and in the 9th episode Shonda
