I feel you, but that doesn't mean we have to stoop to their level all the time.

I'm in NYC. My cousin, who is a black/Hispanic college student, has been stopped by the NYPD at least ten times in his own neighborhood while he walking down the street minding his own business. He hates cops and I don't blame him.

I think several things were happening:

Some black people took offense. Most were totally in agreement with him. And your comment would suggest he divided blacks against blacks, not blacks against whites.

I read the NY Times every single day and they never said anything like that. They did say the techs are grossly underpaid working in unsanitary conditions but nothing about them being locked up anywhere.

Right, he was, but divisiveness does not apply in his situation.

Bad analogy. The Asian nail techs are not imprisoned and are free to come and go as they wish. They are grossly underpaid and many are working in unsanitary conditions but that is a long way from being slaves. And Korean nail techs are much better paid by the Korean salon owners than the techs of other

Tell that to the Native Americans. This was their country; they were here first. They didn't exactly invite Europeans here. And how would you classify the Africans who were dragged over here in chains?

Cosby?! Good lord, Cosby was hardly trying to encourage division. He was America's Favorite Dad, remember? Millions of white people loved his show and bought his book "Fatherhood". Cosby was the guy everybody could relate to. He was everybody's role model. One of his funniest live acts on TV was when he talked

Hitler was a white supremacist; specifically, an Aryan supremacist. So was Fuhrman. Lots of points of ID. And Furhman said he enjoyed torturing black suspects. Ito didn't allow that to come out in the trial so the jury never heard it, but it was widely quoted in the newspapers.

Did you see "Poltergeist"? Dominique Dunne who played the teenage daughter was Dunne's daughter in real life. She was murdered by her boyfriend a couple of years later.

How about your cable company, do they have On Demand? You should be able to watch it there. Also, you can watch it here:

I have to agree. Gooding is totally miscast. Everybody else is spot-on, though, and Vance as Cochran — genius!!

Kurosawa never topped "The Seven Samurai" which is one of the best films ever made, IMO, but "Ran" was a pretty good runner-up. I'd give it a B+ or an A-. "The Seven Samurai" was an A+++.

Can anyone ever forget this?

Has it been renewed for another season?

I'm black and I don't think there is any typical "black youth experience". So much depends on neighborhood, family income, appearance, education, etc. etc. We are a very diverse lot nowadays.

That was the biggest smirk I ever saw.

Given this country's history, it's always an issue. Marcia Clark thought the black women on the jury would identify with Nicole as a battered woman. What she didn't recognize was that race would trump gender, especially in a city like LA with an openly racist police department. I remember the episode where they

They should split the awards between him and Courtney Vance, with most of them going to Vance.
