I wonder when the writers will run out of euphemisms for "zombie." We heard some new ones in this episode — Rosita calls them "dead ones," Lamson calls them "rotters." The euphemisms have evolved as their decay has continued. We've moved away from active terms such as "walkers" and "biters."

Gabriel's exit from the church reminded me of "Aliens." When
fortifying, consider the floor and ceiling. If he can get out, walkers
can get in.

Now I have a St. Vincent earworm.

Interesting theory. It would be an efficient way to disable a potential threat and turn the target into a "debtor."

Also, think back to the earlier episode in which Merle and Daryl were duking it out and Merle was being the bullying older brother, until he saw the scars on Daryl's back. Merle thought he'd taken the brunt of it all and Daryl had got off easy but it hadn't occurred to him that, once he left, Daryl became the sole

To be fair, I think that he fully expected "Eugene" and "Abraham" to be next on the list, given that Abraham was dragging him ahead whether the others followed or not. He had to come clean. But I'd always seen him as purely self-interested. The recitation was the first sign that he shared a bond with the group, and

Interesting. That would mean the Abraham has issues with loyalty and honesty. If that is the case, then Glenn has proven himself by the standards Abraham treasures, while Eugene has shown himself to be Abraham's second-worst nightmare — even while Glenn and Eugene are more on the same page than I had thought they

It could be seen as a correction of the previous characterization. Fans didn't exactly embrace Maggie's oft-declared goal of finding Glenn, so the writers are going with quiet worry and denial. If that's the case, I'm glad; I think the second scenario is more believable (and far less annoying).

That would be Jennifer Runyon. She was actually pretty busy until 1993, when she retired from acting, as some people do. But aside from that, I agree with your point. It takes talent and ambition as well as a pretty face to be more than the girl du jour.

Eugene's recitation of the names of those who died to help facilitate his journey to DC was, I think, proof that every death that could be attributed to his lie, was on his conscience. He knew he was risking his life by confessing — but he didn't want any more names on that heavy list he carries.

I disagree, and I have the professional journalism credentials and degree to back it up. Never write "I won't even mention" to preface another thought. It's contradictory on its face.

Keep digging.

You seem to miss the point that opening with "I won't even mention" and going on to mention things, negates everything else you write. I suggest you avoid that phrase in the future.

It's Earth. She doesn't need a TARDIS, and I respect the character for not thinking that she needed one.

"I won't even mention the … " things you are about to mention. Now, do tell me about your criticisms of the writing …

Pink sent the kid back not just because he was responsible for the kid's death, but because the kid returned and prevented him from clicking "Delete." He owed him on two fronts.

I shall now think of the deceased doctor as Doctor Gayle.

Could the hospital have been doing Father Gabriel's laundry? Perhaps he wasn't under the protection of the Terminians, but he IS under the protection of the hospital group.

And then Carol picked up a pickaxe …

Look around the parking lot. All of the "official vehicles" have the same cross in the window. The people who took her ARE the hospital people.
