I listened to it before the transcript even went up, and I kept thinking "Well, it's not going to get worse than this," and I was consistently proven wrong.

As long as it was short enough, I'd hate-watch Dan's propaganda-video version of his Survivor game.

At least they weren't the first four boots!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I look forward to having you play again.

You hadn't read it already? I'm sorry!

I totally understand. And yes, every season needs people to root against. So wouldn't you rather it be someone like Kass than someone like John Rocker or some uber-misogynistic idiot?

I have a very strong dislike for Troy. I didn't see anything from him that made me think he should get another shot.

I hate to encourage anyone to read things that Dan has said in his exit interviews, but they're very enlightening into exactly the type of person Dan is.

Exactly. There is conflict I enjoy- like Tony and Kass arguing (which led to Tony's llama impression)- and conflict that's just awful to watch. Brandon-Phillip and Will-Shirin fall into the latter category.

I disagree with you on Cagayan being awful. I think Kass should make the season more entertaining, and I'm fine with Woo as fodder for better players. I don't want a season where I love every player out there. I like having a small group to root for.

The four I cared the most about were Peih Gee, Shirin, Savage, and Shane. And I did the exact same strategic voting, including voting for Mike every time since it was obvious he'd be ineligible, and for Spencer and Joe every time because they were locks to make it anyway.

Happy birthday!

Tyler not voting for Carolyn was some bullshit. She did exactly the right thing by cutting him loose when she had to. The only mistake Carolyn made was apologizing for doing it.

I don't think anyone disputed that the "Your mother is a whore" thing was an awkward and out-of-place "joke". I think that whole segment happened because Dan has been trying to craft his own narrative in his exit interviews, and Probst isn't going to let it happen.

Right, that's all they showed on TV. That doesn't mean that's all he said.

It's entirely possible he did ask questions, they were just so dumb that production cut them out of the final edit. Joe doesn't strike me as the most insightful/intelligent guy. He is pretty, though.

Redmond never reveals any game spoilers. Only cast, theme, and location stuff.

I agree with nearly everything you said. I said before the reunion that I hoped Probst wouldn't try to get an awkward, forced apology out of Dan or Will even though I knew it was coming. What does that accomplish?

Major props to nearlynina: She came three points away from getting the highest possible score for this season. She'll be joining the Champions League next season along with tocantins, ebolamonkey84, and Disgruntled Goat.
