The Epitaph episodes would be a lot cooler if they hadn’t used Olivia Williams in Epitaph: Two. On top of everything else, it makes zero sense that Caroline and Dr. DeWitt are friends after the way Epitaph: One ends.

Excellent use of Patton Oswalt, telling everybody how to write even though he's never successfully written anything.

Don’t worry, Nathan. Just get in your time machine and go back a couple of weeks and stand strong with Stana and get canceled together, and that way you can look like you have some character and some principles. They have time machines, right?

I've been trying to get details on the "super good" screenplay that Joss has been writing for the past year that's going to make us all cry. All insiders will say is that it's the sad story of a man named Jack whose life is all work and no play. There are whispers that the current draft is long and somewhat

But the argument can be easily made that the X-Men story is better because it’s original. And tonight’s story is worse because it’s not.

It seems like if you’re going to develop the franchise that Marvel created because they lost the rights to the X-Men, you want to avoid walking the same paths, you want to avoid looking like the cheap knock-off. The cure story was given a very thorough treatment in X-Men: The Last Stand.

Okay, Dude Bro Party Massacre was huge. But even Ben Stiller will only give him voice-over stuff now.

Yeah, but who's stupid enough to finance a movie with Patton Oswalt in a major role at this point?

He's been audience-rejected down from big roles in stuff like Young Adult to bit roles on sitcoms.

The other way to do it was NOT rip off Albert Brooks and save us all a lot of time.

The fact that Patton Oswalt thought that aggregator word-replacement joke was worth all those tweets is so intimately related to how Patton Oswalt's career has gone.

Like you say, the movies have never asked difficult questions about Tony Stark. I’ll be very interested in how the great Russos-Markus-McFeely team treat him in Civil Wars, they’ve never done him before.

I don't hear this as a threat to make everything exactly like Age of Ultron. I hear it more like, okay, we know that Age of Ultron goes in the loss column for us, but we're not going to throw out our whole system because one guy made a lousy movie.

Also, let's not forget, the safe house included the Black Widow crying about not being able to have children, which is quickly becoming a popular choice for the worst moment in the history of the Marvel movies. Will the DVD have a Marvel cut of the movie that doesn't include the safe house?

Totally with Marvel on the safe house. The safe house was stupid. The battle hadn’t gone that badly. There were vague rumors that the Hulk was in trouble, but that’s one guy, and it wasn’t like he was a criminal.
