From my understanding, I believe roll over safety standards and lazy design regarding the structural integrity of the pillars are to partially blame here.

I actually liked that you don’t have a blind spot behind your b-pillar with those fender mirrors. I would take that over the minor inconvenience of having to adjust them from time to time.
