Lost ball, go back to the tee box. Just like the official said. Poultry cheated.
Lost ball, go back to the tee box. Just like the official said. Poultry cheated.
Jordan didn’t cheat unless he knew he was wrong when he said it. Plus, even if Jordan had or had not cheated, that doesn’t prove anything about Poultry. Who cheated.
Was the ball in the hazard? Was the ball found in 5 minutes? If both are no, then poultry cheats by not taking it from the tee. Especially because of the answer to this last one: did the official rule the ball lost before being badgered by Poultry?
One thing - the official said the ball was lost. Poultry lost it emotionally, because he’s insane. And cheated. I bet this isn’t the first time, either.
Ball wasn’t found in 5 minutes...You mean it was lost? Outside the hazard? Thanks! Glad to see you come around.
And Poultry cheated. You should look at the Carl Satan quote. It suits you.
Fallacy of equivalency. This one being so fallacious that I will accept that it was your way of trying to poke me in the eye instead of admitting that, despite your strange attacks at a stranger, I am right.
So in hindsight, the official was right from the beginning? Thank you. I believe we are done. Poultry lost his ball and harassed a guy to change his correct ruling. And cheated.
While I disagree with you about Jordan, because he could honestly believe something and be wrong, that doesn’t affect whether or not Poultry cheated.
How could the official have handled it wrong when he was right? Can’t. Doesn’t make sense.
Damn. That’s a long diatribe. What was missing was the admission that Poultry cheated. And forced an official to change his position. Which was the right position.
Your only response has been “everyone thought it went out of bounds”, except the official. Who was right and was badgered by cheating Poultry.
Here’s what happened - the official was right, Poultry pouted and complained and argued his way into changing the official’s call, 2 minutes later the ball was found outside the hazard, Poultry says “too late”, the cheat gets to drop his ball.
Hmmmm, he only did that when Poulter cheated. Then the ball was found and Poultry claimed “too late!” What a cheating scumbag.
Wow. So because the official was right, somehow he’s also wrong. How do I add a genius tag to insufferable posters who are easily triggered?
Right...infallible logic. I say Poulter cheated and got away with it, and you claim a conspiracy must have occurred for my statement to be true. Well done. You have nailed it.
Let me save you a little embarrassment in a business email or something that might be a little more important than a Deadspin comment: it’s “lo and behold.” Not low. Yeah, I’m being a grammar dick, but you’ll never get that wrong again.
If the official was certain the ball was lost he walked have walked Poulter to the lost ball? You’re insufferable. And Poulter is a cheat.
Wow. Your point is that the official should have concluded the ball, which wasn’t in the hazard, was in the hazard. And all this time you’ve wasted to make this insufferable point. Are you Poulter’s wife?
Holy shit, blow hard, calm down. When I say the official was “correct”, I am saying he was correct to question whether the players had virtual certainty on the location of the ball, as per rule 26-1/1, since the ball was ultimately found outside of the hazard (I’m also aware it doesn’t matter WHEN they found the ball,…
