They used to be creative about it. Now, they just phone it in - relying on people to recall their memorable work.

Defensive holding also gives a first down automatically. I think defenses would much prefer an extra 5 yards v. an automatic 1st down. I’ve seen a lot of holding calls on longer than 10-yard-to-first plays.

Obviously it didn’t work, but didn’t they sign the best closer on the market?? Did nothing might be going a little far here.

Maddon has never been the talent evaluator. Why would you do that now?  Especially when he hates putting out the best lineup...ever!

JC!  I had fewer typos when I wrote all-nighters while downing shots with my roommates in college.

I would like to see this, if true. But can that be a fumble, though, under NFL rules?

“All they have to do is sit out a year.” I think Diaz should be held to the same standard as his players. He should sit this year.

Did he tell Temple he wasn't going to be committed?

I’ve read up on it, and you can call me stupid, but Cody Bellinger is not worth $64 Million this year already. The formula is bunk. I’m sure agents love it, but it’s not tethered to reality.

Can you buy more drops and spins? Is it a “gamble” as to what you’ll get? Are the free spins meant to hook you on the pay spins and drops?

I don't understand how you leapt to the white guys part. I think you might be racist.

Cubs suck, and Maddon is a loser who is getting figured out as a blowhard.

I actually did it. I told the universe the Cubs could win if LeBron won the championship that year.

Cue Ray Allen doing the unbelievable, and that was the moment an avid Cardinals fan switched the tracks on our universe.

So you’re mad that a hand ball, that clearly aided the goal as it deflected the ball to the scorer, was caught after the fact by instant replay?

Sorry man, but that’s not a winning take. Would you have been upset if the refs got it right on the field? Because this isn’t some subjective call of whether it was a catch,

Jeff McNeil is the best hitter in the game? IN THE GAME?! I don’t think anyone even in the Mets organization believes that to be true.

So anytime someone entertains children it’s because they need to be the center of attention? What about signing autographs? or is that somehow different than giving a personal performance for your kids and his friends of the best basketball player of a generation, if not all time.

Marketing scheme by Bread Co. to make it an StL thing to slice bagels long ways. Didn’t stick, despite the many billboards. Now just a meme.

It’s not. Color photo, dummy. It’s a photo with color where it would be if it were a color photo.

Small markets would have nothing to offer fans. I'm fine with it, but that's the reality.

That doesn’t work in baseball. The small markets claim broke. And, because there’s no floor, don’t offer superstars any real money. With this “floor” and max of what to pay superstars, small markets actually offer that amount.
