Sorry, that’s not what I said. What I’ve always said is the official made the correct call initially, as confirmed by reality. Poultry berated the official, and continued to drop the ball even though reality demonstrated the ball was “lost” under the rules. He knew it at the time he dropped, saying “It’s too late.”
