Yeah, the kids are all great. They look like real kids, rather than Disney channel cyborg children.

I've only seen the first two episodes. It's not bad, but thus far pretty much exactly what I expected it to be from the commercials. There's been no big surprises yet and nothing really that's hooked me. At least not yet. But it's pleasant enough. For me, the hook really is its nostalgia element more so than the

She released one very good, Body Talk quality EP in 2014 and another ho hum EP in 2015, but yeah I wish she'd do another album. She's said in interviews, though, that she hasn't done anything because she has no ideas.

Why does sound cloud not have volume controls in their embedded audio? It's so fucking obnoxious.

He's one of those actors that can't act, though. No matter what role he's playing, I always see "guy in a community theater play." He's just not convincing. And this was before his turn into over the top hamminess.

Autism Speaks means well, they just cater more to parents of children with profound autism more so than adults with high functioning autism. So high functioning autistic people often get mad when they claim to speak for them. A lot of the political controversy over autism speaks steams from the fact that the DSM V

Beets are best slow roasted with onions and butter. Brings the sweetness out.

I love beets, but when I lived in a small town in the middle of nowhere, beets were a delicacy. Not terribly expensive, but no one carried them. You had to buy canned. I'd have to drive 45 minutes to buy fresh beets. They are one of those vegetables that smaller grocery stores don't carry. And forget about fresh

See, I think "Whatever Works" is one of Allen's worst movies. All of its comedy and satire falls flat. And more than that, it's just dull.

I've never liked his stand up that much and I always fast forward through his opening spiels on his podcast, but he is a really good interviewer.

Kilmeade is genuinely the stupidest news personality on television. And I don't say that because of his politics or anything. The guy's a fucking idiot in a way that transcends politics.

Yeah, what we need more of in the media today is people "telling it like it is" and writing articles with totally "in your face" headlines. Because we have none of that right now. At all. It's so rare to find anything like that on the internet these days.

Mohd is a truly interesting phenomena. He probably has the first post on 75% of all articles posted in the last 4 years. They are always fairly long, but all are reliably tone deaf and none have anything to do with the article at hand. He gets no encouragement for it, yet he just keeps on posting.

In terms of Glass' stuff seems a combo of this:

Arya's plots are so disconnected from everyone else's for all we know she was only in Essos for like 2 months and spent the last 2 years traveling back and forth. So I didn't mind.

It would have been fan wank, but she took it so far that I think its clear we weren't supposed to be cheering her. She went full serial killer in the way she relished the death. That scene convinced me there's no way she's surviving the series. I suspect she's going to become the Red Lady's crazy assassin or

Yeah. Total Phillip Glass rip off (it's very similar to some of his early operas), but really good.

Life During Wartime is worth seeing. Dark Horse is probably his worst, by far.

Not sure how you could like Bronson and Valhalla Rising, but not Drive.

I feel like she could die next episode.
