There's a really good HD bootleg of Star Wars that's pieced together from the laserdisc, Blu-rays, and bunch of other sources (I think there was an HD broadcast of the older special edition in Europe somewhere that was used to). It's the closest we will get to the original 1970s version in HD.

C+ territory for me. Not much happened in terms of plot, which is forgivable this early, but what was unforgivable was the characterization. If it wasn't for all the nudity and rape, I'd have mistaken it for an older made for BBC or network TV fantasy series. The writing so far is about on that level. There's the

Only other legal place to check might be itunes. Sometimes they have episodes up the night after with a per episode fee, not sure if they have a distribution deal with STARZ, though.

She's the rare individual who gets better looking as she ages too.

I wonder if there is a link between late in life onset of Parkinson's and rampant cocaine use in the 70s. Richard Prior got Parkinson's late in life as well.

This is the first time I've felt bad for the participants. This show sometimes walks a thin line, but usually they go out of their way to make the participants look good.

I knew that was coming, but laughed so hard anyway.

She was 89 and lived a fabulous life. Not much to be sad about here.

I like Risk. It doesn't get enough attention in the podcast-o-sphere. It's probably my 4th most listened to behind This American Life, WTF, and Nerdist.

I really love "Two Weeks." I've had it on repeat since release. The rest of the album is taking longer to grow on me. It's immaculately produced, with every vocal and beat in just the right place, but too many of the songs just kind of meander along, establishing a mood-scape of breathy vocals and "tic-tic-tic-tac"

No.

I always wondered what the generational/legacy damage of policing his music on youtube so harshly will be. There's a huge demographic of younger listeners who get their music mostly from youtube or are exposed to new music through youtube.

I can't see Starz keeping a series going for 8 seasons, unfortunately. Their biggest hit so far has been "Spartacus" and that only got 4 seasons. Unless this is a massive hit, which doesn't seem likely, I hope Moore has some idea on how he plans to wrap the show up if it only ends up going a few seasons.

Now that I think about it, Ronald Moore used the "Head 6" and "Head Baltar" characters similarly to voice over on BSG. It was more voice over as dialog between the character and a fantasy character in their own head, but the effect of laying bare the inner psychology of the character was the same. And it was a

I thought the voice over was cheap at times. It was occasionally used to relay information that could have better been relayed in some other manner, and many other times it was just stating the obvious.

Watched it. Only comparable to Downton Abbey in that both come off slightly cheap. Like made for BBC productions, through and through (even though Outlander's made for Starz).

It's really bothered me that Ted Jr hasn't gone to daniel and just said, "Dude, why the fuck did you sexually assault me with those coffee beans?" The fact that he hasn't done this yet doesn't make sense to me, since he seemed perfectly fine telling the policeman about it.

I was really excited about this, but the claim, "this is a lot like Downton Abbey" isn't something I ever thought I'd see in such a positive review. I really loathe Downton Abbey.

I was just going to say the same thing. They all look creepy with noses and lips. Like CGI old women. Or crude racial caricatures of some race that doesn't yet exist.

It can't suck as bad as Birthday Boys. Everything about that show said that I should love it, which kept me tuning in week after week for disappointment.
